Jaco van Bosch was born on 7 January 1995 in Bloemfontein, South Africa. He moved to Johannesburg and completed his Honours degree (Motion Picture Medium) in 2017, majoring in Screenwriting and Directing at AFDA, The School of Motion Picture Medium and Live Performance. 

During his time in film school, he initially majored in Visual Effects and Sound design, but after co-directing a few film school short film projects in his 3rd year, he found his passion for directing and pursued it full time for his final year.

He co-founded Looped Pictures in 2017 on his first trip to the Cannes Film Festival in 2017, when he started his fist VLOG and posted it on the YouTube channel. The channel was later used to post his latest short films.

His 2017 Honours film, co-written with Mark Haines, was chosen as South Africa's official entry to the 2018 Student Academy Awards and was later available to stream on South African streaming service, Showmax.
Mark Haines was born on 8 September 1994 in Mafikeng, South Africa. He completed his Undergrad degree (Motion Picture Medium) in 2018, majoring in Editing where he graduated Cum Laude and was on the Dean's List. He also won the 'Best Film Edit' award that year. 

He initially started off in Directing and Writing, but decided to major in Editing, while still pursuing Writing and Directing in his own time. 

He co-wrote Mallemeule, the first Looped Pictures short, with Jaco van Bosch, which was chosen as South Africa's official entry to the 2018 Student Academy Awards and was later available to stream on South African streaming service, Showmax.

He works as a freelance editor, and with Looped Pictures, was the co-writer of six, and director of three, of the current slate of short films being released on their YouTube channel.
Co-founder, Kyllian Roux, has worked in the film industry since 2013 gaining many years of experience along the way. Born in Johannesburg and growing up in Eldorado Park for the early parts of his childhood, he soon found his love for cinema, living off 1970’s Kung Fu movies and Westerns.
 
In High School, he made short stop motion animation films for his peers to enjoy and would later study screenwriting and directing at AFDA. His achievements in college included winning best film two years running, being given the Ryan Douglas Poole Scholarship and graduating on the Dean’s list with honours in 2017.
 
He has worked in various countries including Nigeria, Canada and China and in 2018 he was made the official South African Ambassador for the Creative Mind Group based in California. In 2019 he produced with Jaco a short film that was screened at Cannes.
 
Since graduating he has worked with companies such as Nedbank, Standard Bank, SuperSport, Looking China, M-net, Lionsgate and many more in developing creative video content and short stories for various brands and corporate giants
